CENTROTEC maintains organic revenue growth – core business strong – EPS suffers from investment result

Brilon, August 11, 2011: the SDAX-listed company CENTROTEC Sustainable AG achieved organic growth of 7.7 % in the first half of 2011 and posted another revenue record of EUR 234.3 million (previous year EUR 217.7 million). The core segment Climate Systems served as the bedrock of this steady corporate development, with its revenue growing disproportionately by 11.7 % to EUR 161.4 million (previous year EUR 144.5 million). The smallest segment, Medical Technology & Engineering Plastics, was yet again the fastest-growing area with revenue up 23.4 % to EUR 21.1 million (previous year EUR 17.1 million). Equally, core business in the Gas Flue Systems segment made positive progress but this was insufficient to counterbalance the sharp downturn in certain peripheral areas, such as in due to short term regulatrory changes specifically weak solar components business in France; the net result was therefore a 7.5 % fall in revenue to EUR 51.8 million compared with the very strong prior-year revenue of EUR 56.0 million. In the second half of the year growth is expected in this segment.

Upgraded forecasts for 2010 comprehensively met –faster pace of growth in 2011 –company plans to distribute its first ever dividend

Brilon, March 29, 2011 – CENTROTEC Sustainable AG ended the 2010 financial year with the highest revenue (EUR 479.7 million) and the best earnings figures (EUR 36.2 million EBIT) in the history of the group. Earnings in particular rose overproportionally at all levels and were well up on both the previous year and the previous record-best figures from 2008. These results, achieved in a market environment that remained difficult, meant that the forecasts upgraded on multiple occasions during the year were comprehensively met. This profitable growth was achieved in particular thanks to the even stronger market position for the CENTROTEC companies in the Climate Systems segment in 2010. As well as the further improvement in its position in the German heating market, there was substantial growth in export business particularly in Southern and Eastern Europe. Based on the renewed rise in earnings and the further substantial reduction in net borrowings (EUR 71.1 million, previous year EUR 86.5 million), the group is planning to distribute its first ever dividend of EUR 0.10.

Brilon, March 25, 2010 – CENTROTEC Sustainable AG succeeded in bringing the 2009 financial year to an end with the highest quarterly revenue in the history of the company (EUR 136.7 million). Despite a difficult wider economic environment, it was therefore able to post similarly high revenue and earnings figures to the record-breaking 2008, comprehensively meeting the revenue and operating result forecasts made over a year ago. This stable performance was underpinned in particular by the strong market position of the two core segments Climate Systems and Gas Flue Systems.
