CENTROTEC SE: revenue and earnings growth in 2019; annual forecast for 2020 conditional in light of coronavirus crisis

Brilon, March 31, 2020 – The 2019 financial year saw CENTROTEC SE, Brilon, achieve 5.9% growth in consolidated revenue to EUR 651.0 million (previous year EUR 614.7 million), with all three operating segments contributing to this increase. The operating result (EBIT) for the Group rose by 8.8% to EUR 33.1 million (previous year EUR 30.4 million).

CENTROTEC continues positive trend in revenue and earnings

Brilon, February 7, 2020: CENTROTEC SE, Brilon, generated revenue of EUR 651 million in the 2019 financial year (unaudited, previous year EUR 614.7 million). The forecast range of EUR 620 to 640 million was therefore just exceeded. As previously announced, the indications are that the operating result (EBIT) will be at the upper end of the forecast range, at around EUR 33 million (previous year EUR 30.4 million).

CENTROTEC expects further organic growth for the 2020 financial year and has plans for consolidated revenue of EUR 670 to 690 million. The company anticipates further growth in its international sales markets.

CENTROTEC with continuing steady growth in revenue and earnings; German heating market unsettled by climate debate

Brilon, November 14, 2019: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, achieved a positive business performance both in the third quarter and over the year to date, with revenue growth in all three Group segments. In the third quarter, revenue rose 6.4% to EUR 171.4 million (previous year EUR 161.1 million) and the revenue figure for the first nine months of 2019 showed an increase of 5.3% to EUR 471.1 million (previous year EUR 447.4 million). The operating result (EBIT) for the Group went up by 21.4% to EUR 14.0 million (previous year EUR 11.5 million) in the quarter under review, and by 19.2% to EUR 22.1 million (previous year EUR 18.5 million) over the year to date. Earnings per share (EPS) improved to EUR 0.62 (previous year EUR 0.44) in the third quarter and EUR 1.04 (previous year EUR 0.50) in the first three quarters.

Public share buyback offer of Centrotec Sustainable AG successfully completed

Brilon, Germany, 18 September 2019 – The voluntary public share buyback offer of Centrotec Sustainable AG (ISIN DE0005407506 / WKN 540750) against payment of an offer price in the amount of EUR 12,60 per no-par value share for a purchase of up to 1.625.645 shares of the Company, published on August 27, 2019 is expected to have been accepted for a number of approximately 2.509.395 shares and therefore over-subscribed.

According to the terms and conditions of the public share buyback offer the over-subscribed shares tendered will be considered proportionally, that is in relation to the total number of shares tendered. The allocation ratio is expected to be approximately 64,78%.

CENTROTEC sees revenue and earnings grow despite weakening economy; carbon emissions debate expected to unsettle market

Brilon, August 14, 2019: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, increased its revenue for the first half of 2019 by 4.7% to EUR 299.7 million (previous year EUR 286.4 million). All three segments enjoyed revenue growth. The biggest increase was achieved by the Climate Systems segment. The operating result (EBIT) for the Group was improved by 15.6% to EUR 8.1 million (previous year EUR 7.0 million), bearing in mind that the first half is typically weaker in this industry. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to EUR 0.43 (previous year EUR 0.06), supported by the much-improved financial result at the balance sheet date compared with the weak previous year.

Successful start to financial year for CENTROTEC

Brilon, May 14, 2019: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, increased its consolidated revenue by 5.6% to EUR 147.2 million (previous year EUR 139.4 million) in the first three months of the current financial year, following growth in all three operating segments. On this basis, the operating result (EBIT) was increased by 6.8% to EUR 4.1 million (previous year EUR 3.8 million). Thanks to the substantially improved financial result at the reporting date, among other factors, earnings per share (EPS) climbed to EUR 0.26 (previous year EUR 0.05).

CENTROTEC subsidiary Holmak acquires production assets of heat exchanger specialist Klingenburg

Brilon, May 6, 2019: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG has, via its subsidiary Holmak HEATX B.V. with registered office in Staphorst (NL), acquired the production assets for the manufacturing of counterflow heat exchangers from Klingenburg GmbH with registered office in Gladbeck (DE). Klingenburg will focus in future on manufacturing rotary heat exchangers in Gladbeck. With this takeover, Holmak is adding the entire range of aluminium and plastic counterflow heat exchangers previously supplied by Klingenburg to its product portfolio. This transaction will increase the production capacity of Holmak production plants by 50 percent. The move should result in an increase in Holmak’s revenue in the low single digit millions in the current year, then in the medium single digit millions from next year. The plans envisage the first facilities going into operation at the Holmak locations within the third quarter of 2019.
