CENTROTEC confirms full-year forecast after on-track quarterly result
Brilon, May 14, 2018: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, increased its revenue by 1.5% to EUR 139.4 million (previous year EUR 137.3 million) in the first quarter of 2018 thanks to growth in the Gas Flue Systems and Medical Technologies & Engineering Plastics segments. The consolidated operating result (EBIT) was unchanged from the previous year’s level at EUR 3.8 million. Earnings per share (EPS) came to EUR 0.05 (previous year EUR 0.08).
CENTROTEC expects further organic revenue growth to between EUR 600 and 620 million for the 2018 financial year. The strategic measures actioned in recent years to expand primarily the international business volume sustainably will continue in the financial year in progress. In addition, a sales drive to boost German heating business has been kicked off. On the other hand developments on commodity markets are likely to weigh slightly on earnings for 2018. Overall, an operating result (EBIT) of EUR 30 to 32 million is expected, merely a slight increase on the previous year.
